Attempt To Locate Randal Reagan Whitaker, Who Is Wanted On Federal Criminal Charges Of Conspiracy To Distribute And Possess Wth Intent Methamphetamine; Convicted Felon In Possession Of Firearms And Felon Convicted Of A Crime Of Violence In Possession Of Body Armor

Robert E. Casey Jr., Special Agent In Charge, Dallas, FBI, is seeking the public's assistance in locating Randal Reagan Whitaker. Mr. Whitaker should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

On November 14, 2007, Randal Reagan Whitaker was indicted in the Northern District of Texas, Abilene, Texas, for several Federal criminal violations associated to illegal drug distribution. Specifically, Whitaker was indicted on four criminal counts that included:

1. Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine (Violation Title 21 U.S. Code Section 846).
2. Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine (Violation Title 21 U.S. Code Section 841 (A)(1) and 841 (b)(1)(c)).
3. Convicted Felon in Possession of Firearms (Violation Title 18 U.S. Code Section 922 (g)(1) and 924 (a)(2)).
4. Felon Convicted of a Crime of Violence in Possession of Body Armor (Violation Title 18 U.S. Code Section 931 and 924 (a)(7)).

Randal Regan Whitaker is described as a white, male, date of birth September 23, 1977 (30 years old), 5'11" to 6'00" tall, approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Whitaker was last seen wearing goatee style facial hair. Whitaker is known to have tattoos on his chest, back and left shoulder.

The Safe Streets Task Force comprised of the FBI, Taylor County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are jointly coordinating this investigation.

Anyone recognizing Randal Reagan Whitaker or having information about his current whereabouts should call the Abilene Office of the FBI at 325-677-6191, the Dallas Office of the FBI at 972-559-5000 or their local police agency. This person should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS and should not be approached by citizens who may recognize him or know his whereabouts.
