Robert E. Casey Jr., Special Agent In Charge, Dallas FBI, announces a reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the October 31, 2008, robbery of the Compass Bank located at 3111 North Galloway, Mesquite, Texas.
Compass Bank, along with Regents Bank, Southwest Automated Clearing House Association, and the North Texas Crime Stoppers, announced they were offering a reward of up to $12,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the October 31, 2008, robbery of the Compass Bank in Mesquite, Texas.
The robber of the Compass Bank in Mesquite, Texas is also a suspect in the October 9, 2008 robbery at the Compass Bank located at 3939 Saint Francis Avenue, Dallas, Texas. During that robbery one shot was fired but no one was injured.
In both incidents the robber has been armed with a handgun and should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
Anyone recognizing this robber or having information about his current whereabouts should call the Dallas FBI Office at 972-559-5000 or their local police agency. This person should not be approached by citizens who may recognize him or know his whereabouts.
