Robert E. Casey Jr., Special Agent In Charge, Dallas FBI, announced today the arrest of STEVEN MCFALLS, age 34 of Midlothian, Texas.  MCFALLS was arrested this morning, without incident by agents of the FBI and the Arlington Police Department.

On April 28, 2009 the FBI, Fort Worth Resident Agency, received information that MCFALLS was planning to rob a bank in the Arlington, Texas area.  Further investigation revealed MCFALL was planning to rob the Frost Bank located at 3801 Matlock, Arlington, Texas. On the morning of April 29, 2009, the Arlington Police Department and FBI observed MCFALLS in the area of the Frost Bank.  At that time Arlington Police Department executed a traffic stop on MCFALLS’ vehicle. MCFALLS was then arrested for Attempted Bank Robbery.

SAC Casey would like to thank the Arlington Police Department and agents of the FBI, Fort Worth Resident Agency, for their efforts in this matter.

The public is reminded that an arrest is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in criminal cases are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
